Sarah Nicole is a Minneapolis-based artist whose process-driven paintings explore the intersections of emotion, embodiment, and the elemental. Working with raw canvas and a soak-stain technique, she employs water as a collaborator—flooding, diluting, and staining her surfaces in gestures shaped as much by gravity and evaporation as by her own hand.
Rooted in the embodied experience of motherhood, her practice often draws on floral silhouettes as symbolic vessels of feminine resilience.
